How to send a file for download by AJAX request using AngularJS?

Hello.
Please tell me how best to upload a file from the server through an indirect link. The project uses AngularJS and Symfony 2 respectively.
Regarding the file upload itself, I found a post on habré - habrahabr.ru/post/151795 , but maybe there is a ready-made solution for Symfony 2?
Also very interested in the question of the future fate of the file, ie. after an AJAX request to the server via a link, a response comes and what to do with it and will it be immediately read by the browser as a file?
