How to sell works on Themeforest?
Hello everyone, now I will try to formulate a question, or rather a few questions.
In general, I am a website designer, with almost 5 years of experience, I work quite successfully on freelance, but recently I began to think about the sensational Themeforest.
Because I am not engaged in layout and programming, I decided to try myself in the Psd category. I sent them a work, about 5 days waiting for a response. As a result, today I received the following letter:
Unfortunately your submission Universal Landing Page isn't ready for ThemeForest and cannot be resubmitted as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or marketplace policies. In order for submissions to be considered for sale they must be of high aesthetic and technical quality, unique to our library and cannot be in violation of Envato's policies. Please see our Knowledgebase for more information: support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Articl...
Our Review team also provided these comments:
Your item does not provide the necessary design quality for this category. As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.
While I'd be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise. I'm sorry to say this isn't there yet.
Unfortunately, my English is lame, but in general I kind of understood the essence, they refused =)
I read somewhere that they rarely accept works on Themeforest the first time, so is there any point in finalizing or I would have been written in a letter that finalize and poison? Just judging by the answer, it seemed to me that this work had no chance at all.
The next question is: Is it worth catching something in the Psd category or is it better to find a partner with whom to make WordPress themes for a couple? Is it possible to post work on behalf of two authors on Themeforest? For example, I (a designer) and a programmer, but trust in relation to each other has not yet developed and therefore it would be very convenient to place a work for sale on behalf of two authors? Or how can you be safe in another way?
Third question: It may sound silly, but I’ll try to ask it anyway =) To make WordPress templates, for example, it’s better to find a programmer partner or you should try to start learning programming and layout yourself, although I confess my soul doesn’t lie to this when I look at Codes I have a gag reflex =)
Fourth question: How does Themeforest work moderation work? Could it be that the Psd template was rejected, but the WordPress theme with the same design was accepted? Or is it possible to buy a psd design on Themeforeste, make a WordPress theme out of it and sell it?
Fifth question: Or rather, I would even like to hear the advice of those who already sell there and have some experience!
Thank you all in advance, I apologize in advance for so much text, it just boiled.

1) In general, it is really worth studying other works, especially the most popular ones (in the top of the week) and improving your work based on the inspiration received. What they wrote in the letter is their standard response template, of which there are only 3: Hard Reject, Soft Reject, Your Item has been aprooved.
So do not take literally what is written there (in the sense that this particular work of yours is hopeless), sometimes it is enough to add a few little things to improve the overall impression of your work (whether it is a VI template, HTML template or PSD). I had enough experience of rejection in different categories, some works even 3 times :) But I did not give up, I improved, and in the end everyone accepted me.
2) There is practically nothing to catch in the PSD category, it is better to at least create HTML templates, but the most profitable ones are still VP templates.
Posting works from 2 authors will not work, only from one account, this is already a matter of purely human relationships and trust) areas that are not characteristic of me, then the work was very inefficient and motivation dropped to zero. I can only say that a web designer should be able to type, at least at a basic level, after all, design implies not only beautiful pictures, but also thoughtful usability (what, where and how it is clicked and works).
4)
Could it be that the Psd template was rejected, but the WordPress theme with the same design was accepted?
It's hard to say something without seeing the layout. I can only advise you to study the new Themeforest templates better and try to do in this style.
