How to select and copy only the left part of the text from the site without capturing the right one?
I need to select the left part of the text to put it in the talker so that it reads the tags to me when I'm doing work. But I can’t select only the left column and the talker starts reading unnecessary information in this example of a figure, which completely disrupts the process.

It seems that Word and Notepad ++ can do this with the alt key pressed.
Alternatively, copy to Word. and there already select what you need. :)
You can ctrl + shift + i in the browser (developer tools) to copy the desired html block. And paste it into a text editor where there is a multicursor, for example, sublime. And then remove all tags.
In this way, I used to pull out the id of users from groups when there were no bots, maybe a method will suit you if you adapt.
PS
On the edge in the developer tools, you can simply delete the right block and copy the left one =)
Install some plugin for personalization of sites, and cut out all the unnecessary nafig?
I write reports at work when I copy from the browser with exactly the same problem.
Copy everything completely into Sublime Text, then hold down SHIFT and right-click to select the left column - the selection will become smart and will select by "columns" - each letter will be a column, conveniently shorter.
There are also more sophisticated ways - write a regular expression like "one word from the beginning of the line" and click "select all", but here you already need to think a little.
