How to save the site address with the new version, if it is done in Tilda, and the old version was written in code?

Good afternoon! Situation: we are creating a new version of the site on Tilda. The old version was made on a different platform. The customer pays for the current domain of the site and asks to keep the full name of the site in the version made on Tilda. Questions:
1. What about a paid domain?
2. How can I save the link (just write the same address on Tilda?)?
3. How to "disable" the old site?
Thanks in advance!

@marusseo

  1. In the Tilda settings, go to the Domain section, specify the desired address
  2. There, Tilda will give an IP address, which will need to be registered in the personal account of the domain registrar (where the domain was purchased)
  3. Go to the personal account of the registrar, go to the DNS settings
  4. Find a resource record of type A and specify the IP address given by Tilda there. Instructions for popular registrars from Tilda
  5. The domain will be linked to the site on Tilda within 24 hours, usually faster.

You don’t need to do anything with the old site, after linking to Tilda it will fall off.
You can use your domain on Tilda only with a paid subscription.
