How to save printer settings?

Hello.
The user has a printer installed, the print settings are made in it. The user connects to the server through the terminal, tries to set up the printer there, but the "Apply" button is not active, so the settings are not saved. How to save settings?
Tried to log in as admin - also does not save. I connected 1 more printer to this computer - the apply button on it is also not active. Everything works fine on other computers.
client - win xp,
server server 2003.

at our office the terminal server 1c + network printers (NOT REDIRECTIONED) works. To change the print settings: change the settings, send it to print and close 1s and the session. On next login everything is ok.
