How to save the status of authorized after the death of the session and cookies?

Because after closing the browser, re-authentication is required. I would like to automate this process.
There is an idea to write to the database in the "sign_in" field with the data type int with a possible status of 1/0. But only the username is stored in $_COOKIES and the question arises how to solve this dilemma
