How to save a picture with applied filter in PS?

Hello. I'm still new to PS and I have such a problem...
There is a picture that has a translucent background, which, as I understand it, is hidden using "overlay options" - "multiplication" (if you set it to normal, the background appears). How can I save a picture with this filter, i.e. so that the background is also absent in the saved picture?
Thanks in advance for tips

Well, the easiest way is to cut out the "nesting tool" and save it for the web (choose png).
It all depends on the context, if this is a background image, then you can cut out the entire background at once, if you need a separate element, you can do it, as I said, or clean it from the background yourself (there are a lot of ways).
