How to save a file in ubuntu terminal?

I'm new to ubuntu. creating shared hosting but can't make friends with the terminal.
how to print normally here and save what you typed.

it is worth advising to install the console file manager midnight commander
sudo apt install mc
the mcedit text editor will be included

1. echo "text" > output
2. nano output
You can also use another editor instead of nano...
