How to save a file from a lost machine?
I installed a virtual machine with ubuntu, but recently, at startup, a black screen appeared with a blinking cursor. I tried to fix it, but without success. I would like to save one file (I have access to the terminal), how can I do this?

Mount the virtual disk of the machine somewhere in the working environment - and download.
Can be copied using SCP, something like this:
scp file.txt [email protected]:/some/directory

We mount the bootable or installation iso bootable from it. In the file manager, select the file and copy
