How to safely test a USB flash drive?
There are two USB flash drives, I got them from a flea market for nothing. Naturally I am afraid of virusni and other muck. Tell me the algorithm of actions how to safely check these flash drives?

Make a boot disk like Hiren's Boot CD (for example, on another, your flash drive) and drop R.tester there before use .
Boot from it, connect the resulting flash drives and run a write test on them in R.tester. Such a test will destroy all the contents irrevocably, and at the same time you will be able to assess the condition of the drives you received, and understand whether the files will disappear from them at the most inopportune moment.

Boot from a bootable flash drive with some distribution kit (drweb livecd or similar) and run the antivirus for scanning.
