How to run tests on a Mac with the display turned off?
Good day!
The essence of the problem: there is a poppy, there are UI tests that need to be run in Safari. The Mac's settings are set to "prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off" (which I'm guessing means keep running when the display is off).
BUT, when the display turns black, then all the tests in a chain crash.
In addition, you cannot connect to a remote desktop if the display is turned off on the Mac.
Hence the question: is there a way, in principle, to run tests on a poppy with the display turned off? A Mac isn't cheap, and setting the display to turn off after a few hours is not an option at all.

Turn off the display and backlight to a minimum .
For a remote worker and tasks "for the night" I do this. To completely turn off the matrix - there are no options .
I also have one old MacPro, when the monitor goes to sleep or turns off, it cuts all programs, including TeamViewer, although it is turned on, but it does not allow to connect. Experimentally, it was found that it is precisely the combination of the operating system (10.13.6) and TeamViewer that leads to this. The hardware is old, you can't install a newer OS. Once I experimented with remote access and a miracle happened, using AnyDesk you can always connect to it, programs work and do not fall asleep. Of course, all this is a coincidence, I don’t believe in miracles, but for some reason it works.
