How to run quakeLive on ff4?

Writes when installing the plugin - not compatible with ff4 ...

1) Remove the KuLive plugin from Lisa
2) Go to www,quakelive.com, log in and accept the license agreement
3) And here you should not click "Allow plugin to be installed", no. It is better to right-click on the Click Here link and “save the object as” to some folder
4) Open the downloaded xpi-file via WinRAR or any other archiver and open the install.rdf file there
Change the contents of the install.rdf file to this: 5 ) Install the updated xpi And an easier way is to download and install the xpi file from here

If it's an xpi plugin, like other FF addons, you can try unpacking it (it's actually a .zip) open the install.rdf file with a text editor, hit the section that starts with:
find the line:
<em:maxVersion>SOMETHING</em :maxVersion>
and change to:
<em:maxVersion>4.0.*</em:maxVersion>
Then pack it back.
It may not work, of course, but you can try.

An easier way is described here - it helped me: no need to unpack / edit / pack anything
