How to run Overmind under WSL 2?

I'm trying to use the Overmind service (an advanced analogue of foreman) on WSL 2 (Linux inside Windows), Ubuntu 16.04. Yes, I have to work on Windows, so WSL is my salvation!
Somehow it turned out to be fixed ... But now I ran into a launch problem.
After this command: I instantly get an error:

[email protected]:/mnt/c/rails/vizmarket# overmind s

system | Tmux socket name: overmind-vizmarket-f2ZGVMrcSIdyY0QKfLB0X_
system | Tmux session ID: vizmarket
system    | Listening at ./.overmind.sock
overmind: listen unix ./.overmind.sock: bind: operation not supported

At a dead end ... I don’t even understand what to do with it now.
Tell me, please, how to fix or where to look?

PS In one forum there was a discussion about something similar, and as a working solution it was suggested to reduce the project name to <= 6 characters. So, no, it didn't work for me.

PS.2 Tried Foreman - everything works! But I would like to revive Overmind :)

@q2digger

and you have exactly WSL2? otherwise it seems that ubuntu is an image from WSL1, but they are very very different ..
Show the output of the command wsl --list --verbosein the Powershell console.
