How to run mysql on Windows through mysqld and not through a service?
Installed MySQL Server + Workbench using Windows Installer.
The server is started / shut down via cmd --> net start MySQL57 / net stop MySQL57
I would like to start it via mysqld. We try cmd --> mysqld --console starts up, shows that everything is fine. But when trying to connect any user, we have:
Access denied for user 'Program'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
In this case, if run through the service, then everything works. The log is attached.
