How to run mongodb in the background?

I am using Raspberry Pi operating system and Mongodb 2.4.14 database. I can't install the latest version of mongodb. I have a 32 bit OS.

I start mongo this way:
mongod --auth --dbpath /data/db/

How can I start MongoDB in the background?
