How to run linux scripts from a web page?
Good afternoon
There is a Linux server, on it are perl scripts that perform various manipulations, for example, a selection from the database, the formation of Excel and sending it by mail. They do not display any output to the screen or the Web.
On the same server, an apache web server is deployed. I would like to make a page, by accessing which the user could, for example, click the "Get Report" button and what I described above is performed.
Twisted html and forms, I got the impression that this is not compatible with my scripts ...
Maybe there is some kind of ready-made solution? Or just point in the right direction, just push the script as if we entered a command for this in linux

CGI
As well as functions like eval () in JS, exec () in PHP and Python, in principle, they are in all PLs.
