How to run jar file?

I used to write in java 10, but now I have returned to java 8, unfortunately I had to remove java 10. Now my jar files do not start, I'm not talking about those that were written on the new jdk, but on the old jdk. In what directory is it located java tm platform se binary. What is it called javaw.exe or java.exe ?

Where put - there and is. On Windows, usually in /Program Files (x86)/Java/jre<version_number>/bin/java.exe
