How to run Android x86_64 emulator on AMD processor?

I'm trying to run the Android emulator that comes with the SDK. When trying to run the x86_64 emulator, an error occurs:
f0fe6c7910e147e9bca2e5b04c440438.png

Starting emulator for AVD 'Nexus_5'
emulator: ERROR: x86_64 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!

But the problem is that I can't install and use Intel HAXM. I have an AMD processor (Phenom x4 9550) which does not support Intel VT, only AMD-V. ARM starts without problems, but as you know - it works quite slowly.
Is it possible to run a standard x86_64 emulator on an AMD processor?

Install Linux and be happy. KVM runs on any coffee grinder with virtualization support.
