How to run Android Studio emulator on AMD?
Good afternoon. Faced such a problem that (surprise) but Intel HAXM is not installed on AMD processors. I found on the net that the problem with launching the emulator is solved through the choice on the arm64 or arm v7a device. In AVD, I chose 2 devices with both that and that version, but when I start it, it gives an error Emulator: PANIC: Broken AVD system path. Check your ANDROID_SDK_ROOT value [D:\androidsdk]!
And here I have a stupor, in the Environment Settings I have 2 system variables ANDROID_HOME and ANDROID_SDK_ROOT both pointing to a folder on the D:\androidsdk disk. I created this folder myself when I installed the SDK through Android Studio. What to do?
PS The PC rebooted after prescribing variables in the environment settings.

So, the problem could not be overcome. I had to use genymotion.
For those who are unable to run genymotion due to CPU issues, disable Hyper-V in Windows. You can do this manually or google a script to disable it. For example, the developers of the BlueStacks emulator have such a script.
I tried to deal with this problem, but I did not solve it, so I have to use genymotion :(
If someone solves this problem, it will be cool)
