How to run an application in a separate virtual workspace?
Requirement: ubuntu14.04, Gnome Terminal, 4 workspace. nothing special.
Task: to automate, after launch, the movement of the terminal to workspace No. 3 and deploy it to the maximum available space.
Googled it: wmctrl utility
But wmctrl says I have only one workspace:
$ wmctrl -d
0 * DG: 2732x1536 VP: 0,768 WA: 65,24 1301x744 N/A

Ohoho. Known issue Gnomes. I've been using Gnome since version 1.4, somewhere in the 2.0 region, the connection of the application to the desktop was broken. In KDE, at least in 3k, this was the case, maybe they didn't break it in 4.
