How to rotate an asynchronous motor at a certain angle?

Hello, I have not worked with electronics before, so I am a complete layman.
I have a t.z. from the teacher there is an asynchronous motor and Arduino. Is there any library to control this motor so that it can be rotated to a certain angle. If not, is it possible to remake it so that it could be so.

Thank you in advance.

Asynchronous motors are not designed to rotate at a certain angle, the speed of rotation of their rotor may not correspond to the speed of rotation of the stator magnetic field. Therefore, there is only one way - reading the position of the shaft using a sensor and controlling the engine using this sensor. In this, the control logic of an asynchronous motor does not differ from the collector one used in model servo drives.

And whether precisely speech about asynchronous? He is not able to be in one position, even applying a certain voltage to the windings, the shaft will not get into the desired position.
You can try the position sensor and control the current in the windings, but I'm afraid that in static it will not work, use the maximum to adjust the speed.
Maybe a brushless motor?
