How to roll back Raspbian?

There is a raspberry, put the kodi media player on it, updated it with the command "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"
After the reboot, the bottom line (taskbar) disappeared and the windows became black-framed (screenshot below).
How can all this be returned-rolled back to the state before the update?
(black line - inactive window, with white captions and controls - active window)
