How to revive a DVD-ROM?

Hello.
While wiping DVD blanks turned off the laptop, after which the drive does not see any disk. In BIOS / Win / * Nix, the drive is detected correctly, but it does not read disks. How to cure a drive?

I erased the disk in WIN7 and tried to read disks with WIN7, Debian.
