How to return to the original state of Ubuntu server?

In general, you need to return everything to the original settings, but leave the network settings. Since physical access to the server is difficult. There is access via SSH. Little manipulation has been done. You can say a clean system. Installed VestaCP.

Well, as in windows or osx it is impossible, but you can look at the history of commands, what was done and return it as it was.
And why return back if everything works?
