How to return the site to its former positions?

Good day to all. The addresses of all links on the site were changed without putting down redirects. Naturally, in the issue we are at the bottom.
The robot crawled all the pages, added them to the search. The old ones give a 404 response. What to do. Wait for normal indexing? Prescribe a redirect from the old ones? Set up an advertising company on new pages?

it is better to set up redirects. over time, the search engine will re-index new pages and give them the positions of old ones

It is obvious to make redirects from fear to new ones, and the positions will return

Of course, make 301, paginated. So that not all the old ones are transferred to one main of the new domain, but the old one to the new one where its content is now. And I would do everything up to one 301 without even leaving the ones that were not needed on the old domain.
