How to restore ufw logging?

Hello. Accidentally demolished the ufw log on the server along the path /var/log/ufw.log. After that, ufw stopped logging.
I already manually created this file, but it did not bring any result, the file remains empty. Also turned off and turned on ufw again, turned off and turned on logging - zero sense. Haven't tried rebooting the server yet. What else can be done.

So maybe nothing happens from what should be logged? Therefore, there is nothing in the logs.
