How to restore the Linux bootloader?
Hello! Today I decided to try to install android x86 on my laptop. The laptop had windows 7 and ubuntu 14.04 on different partitions. I installed android next to windows, but the android bootloader now does not see ubuntu, it only sees windows and android, how can I make it see ubuntu too?

I don’t know which bootloader the android has, you can remember which partition it is on and install grub again, via the ubuntu boot flash drive.
Those. insert the flash drive, select "install" there, then look for the "install bootloader" section.
We put it, reboot, go into ubuntu and in /etc/grub/grub.conf (in ubuntu it seems to be menu.conf) we write an entry for android (if the hornbeam does not determine itself)
If the bootloader is Grub - make sure you have the os-prober package and its dependencies installed. In this case, the command grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
will successfully find both Ubuntu, and Android, and Windows 7. Pre-backup the grub.cfg file
. Example:grub-install /dev/sda
In android 86, the grub bootloader is installed, I remember you can set the android bootloader! And in it, specify a link to your disk and ubuntu, rummage through the disks, I remember there was a grub folder and a file like a config file and edit it, you'll figure it out further.
