How to restore individual files from an old Windows 7 backup?
There is a backup folder like \Backup Set 2012-07-15 121029\ in which there are two subfolders: \Backup Files 2012-07-15 121029 with a bunch of archives and \Catalogs with the file GlobalCatalog.wbcat
How can I extract individual files\folders from this backup without excessive hemorrhoids? Windows 7 Backup and Restore does not understand this structure.
UPD: pulling out with a regular archiver is not an option (more precisely, the last option). a) there are VERY many files and b) some of the files (larger than 200 mb) are divided into pieces according to different archives.

I was wrong, Windows 7 Backup and Restore requires you to specify a non-backup folder. and the parent folder with the computer name as the start folder. Now we have to deal with the lost MediaId.bin
