How to restore access to Android application keys?

Hello!
I have a strange situation, everything was fine, I signed the versions of the application for android and uploaded it to the playlist. Then it took 2 branches of the application, one for the old API 8+, the second for 14+, I did it stupidly copying the folder with the project, signed both versions and uploaded them to the playlist, everything is fine.
But then after a while I tried to sign a version that is 14+, I couldn’t, it says “keystore was tampered with or password was incorrect”, although the version that is 8+ signs normally.
During the work on the new version, I updated only the support libraries and also from com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.2.3 to com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.4.0-beta3.
Judging by the experiments, the problem is in com.android.tools.build:gradle:1.4.0, everything is fine on the old one, but how to sign with the new version?
Where to dig?
