How to restore a system from an image?

Hello, there is a computer with Windows 7 on board, raid 1 is configured from two disks, I made an image using the built-in Backup and Restore utility. I'm trying to restore the image on another computer, I connected the disk with the image and an empty disk, the system writes that the disk was not found.
What is the reason?

You are trying to copy a disk, not restore. To transfer a system disk image, use cloning .
