How to restore a memory card after adding a line to the fstab file?

After adding a line to the fstab file, the memory card on which the system was installed died. Here is this line:

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbdrive ntfs-3g defaults,rw 0 1

. Windows detects a memory card, but does not display either memory (how much is used, how much is free, total size), or volume. When I try to log in, I get the following message:

Insert disc into device

. When formatting, it gives an error. Memory card SanDisk 8 GB Vid 14CD Pid 6700.
