How to restart an iOS device without using the Power button?
Good night,
such a situation that on my old iPhone 5 periodically (once every 2 weeks, maybe more often, maybe less often) WIFI falls off. He seems to see available networks, but cannot connect to them. Reboot helps.
Most owners of the 5th model know about the unsuccessful Power button, which fails after a while. Here it doesn't work for me. Well, or it works very badly.
From here the question is how to reboot the device?
What I thought along with Google:
1. Once there was an option to connect via Putty via SSH, while you need to know the IP address of the device, but because. my waffle fell off, this option disappears.
(Through WebSSH I tried to write localhost/127.0.01 - I don't want to.)
2. Turning on the bold font and turning it off (and the device supposedly reboots between them) does not help. I understand that in fact only the graphical shell is rebooted there. And I need to restart the WIFI module.
3. You can try "Reset network settings", but you don't want to lose all the forgotten places with Internet access.
4. Siri refuses to reboot the device, but only tells how to do it.
Does anyone have any options? There must be secret codes of some kind.
Z.Y. The option to make a button or buy a new phone may not even print.

Try changing the region in the settings (for example, the region of Russia has changed to USA) (You need to restart again, changed the region back) the phone will really reboot. and you can also install itools through the computer and connect the cable. and click there to restart and that's it.

Does not require jail
After pairing the device, poke in more details (lower right corner), there will be functions:
Sleep - stops autobackup when found if this function is on
Restart - what is required in the task
And like shutdown.
We connect via usb, turn on access via Wi-Fi (put a checkmark on the checkbox)
As a result, if Wi-Fi falls off, then usb, if Wi-Fi does not fall off, you can reboot without touching the device
