How to reset the password cache for remote network folders?
There is a file server on Windows Server 2008R2. It has a network folder that is accessible only to certain accounts (SMB is allowed for everyone, restrictions are set by NTFS rights).
The "Guest" account is enabled on the server (as it is intended, it is needed)
When you try to access a network folder on this server from a remote machine, the login and password are not requested (you are logged in under the "Guest" account).
After that, I open control userpasswords2 and manually specify the login and password for the file server.
The folder still remains inaccessible, since the connection is still performed under the Guest account. Reboot or long wait helps.
How to "log out from under the Guest" and go under the "manually entered account" without rebooting and waiting?
