How to reset the D-Link 1228 password if it (password) is lost?

There is a D-Link DES-1228 switch, firmware 1.10.12. Inherited from the previous administrator. For some reason, the password for access to it was not transferred, as well as documents for it.
Sending it to the service for reset is impossible due to the lack of documents for the switch.
There is no way to find the password.
Are there workarounds to solve my problem?
The switch is D-Link 1228, not a modification of 1228P or 1228 / ME - there is no output COM port.
Reset didn't help.
Flashing without a password is not possible.

In the discussion of the issue, it turned out to solve the problem:
- hold down reset and turn on the router with the button pressed.

Looked through the first pages of issue. The vast majority of answers only apply to 1228/ME, as this modification has a deduced COM.
In my case, there is no output COM port. There is an unsoldered socket on the board itself, but there is not one microcircuit nearby. I believe that she is responsible for COM itself, although I do not claim it. A search for COM pinout on the board did not give an explicit explanation of whether it is supported or not.
