How to remove the output of inactive sections in Bitrix?

There are manufacturers on the page. By clicking on any of them, I get to a page with sections in which there is a product of this manufacturer. In other words, a list. The problem is that the checkbox "Show only currently active elements" is set in the component settings, but sections that have been deactivated for a long time have been shown as they are. The component on the "bitrix:news" page (I don't know why it is used ).
How to remove the output of inactive sections in Bitrix if it cannot be changed in the settings?

Those. you have a product catalog, it is divided into sections. Separately, there is a page with a component placed on it, which receives a specified manufacturer as input, and the component returns a list of catalog sections in which there are goods from this manufacturer. So? If so, then it is unlikely that this is the news component, and if so, then it was terribly mangled and applied out of place.
Most likely, the news component displays a list of all manufacturers, because you probably have them stored in a separate IB, and in the product there is a "link to the element" property to them.
But the list of sections seems to be displayed by another component.

bitrix:news is a complex component. Those. it just decides on which page which components should be displayed.
Therefore, the list of sections "in which there is a product of this manufacturer" is formed not by the bitrix:news component itself, but by some other component (bitrix:news.list, bitrix:news.detail or some other).
Which component renders this list?
