How to remove the L character when laying out on MacOS?

I 'm doing layout, and some customers complain that the L symbol is often found in the text.
I don't see it. It is visible to Windows users. I have MacOS and the Atom editor.
Maybe someone faced a similar problem?

most likely the problem is in the editor itself, I use sublime text / coda 2 on macOS and this does not happen
