How to remove Sidebar?

Good evening. Can you please tell me how to remove the left sidebar in the template https://de.wordpress.org/themes/gambit/ ?
By deleting sidebar-main.php we will almost solve the problem, but how and where then to align the posts of the site to the width of the page?

- deleting the sidebar template will not give results))) You'll be lucky if it doesn't give PHP errors.
- you need to delete not only the template, but also disable it via functions.php
- you also need to find all page templates page.php single.php etc. and find where this sidebar is displayed and delete it.
- further you will need knowledge of html 5 & css3 to remove the desired html block and add styles in order to align the block to the width of the screen.
