How to remove "ptr-generate-..." before input field in terminal?

In the terminal, each new line waiting for commands looks like this:
ptr-generate-77-77-7-777:~ username$
In various screencasts, I saw another text in front :~username$- either nothing or something containing the name of the computer (up to some point I had this).
Successfully google and understand that it failed.
How to remove these entries? I would like to have a clean terminal window and it is easy to navigate in it.

this is a normal command line prompt, customize it however you want.
google -> bash prompt.
