How to remove linux installed by second system?
Good afternoon. It costs Windows 8.1 and the second system on separate Linux partitions. The default bootloader is now GRUB. I'm afraid if I stupidly format the partitions with Linux-Windows, I won't start it anymore. First you need to make the default Windows bootloader, and then format the partition with Linux through the partition editor. I read that you need to run the fixmbr and fixboot commands. What does each of them mean, and is it necessary to start from the Windows image when executing them?

How to Repair the Master Boot Record (MBR)
These steps apply to any drive that has been used as a boot drive in any recent version of the Windows operating system.
Using the F12 key on the Dell boot screen, enter a menu that allows you to boot from the Windows installation media, boot disk, or flash drive.
Click the Repair your computer link at the bottom of the Install Now screen.
Click Diagnostics.
Select Command Prompt.
Type the following three commands in turn while pressing the Enter key:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd
Remove the installation media and restart your computer to make sure the recovery is complete.
after that, you can delete the partitions with Linux
Linukh costs on the 2nd disk? Or is it all on one?
If I'm not mistaken, then you can do it in the following way: "Computer Management" -> "Device Manager" -> and delete the place where linux is installed. If it's all on one disk, then just expand the space for Windows, if on another disk, then just create a file system.
