How to remove extra steps when placing an order in Opencart?

Hello. I'm trying to remove unnecessary steps when placing an order according to this instruction . For the tabs described there, everything works, but I need the checkout, shipping address (shipping-address), shipping method, and confirmation tabs to remain. However, when I perform the actions specified for payment_method (it is mentioned in the comments) on payment_adress, then an error occurs, in the delivery method you cannot select another one and go to the next step. Maybe there is another way without modules?

I usually rework the design functionality itself. I just hide some of the steps. if you want everything to be just on one page without steps, then you can use the appropriate modules.
