How to remove all owl.carousel items using carousel events?

So it goes.

There is an event remove.owl.carousel, but you must specify which slides to delete, but you need to do everything at once.

How to do it?
If I just delete the slides with jquery - won't anything inside the carousel re-wedge?

So far I've made it a crutch: I counted all the slides and deleted them with an event in a loopremove.owl.carousel
