How to remove a file from a Laravel 5.1 project?

Deleted 2 controllers (just deleted files), now I get the error "*Controller does not exist".
Tried:
artisan clear-compiled
artisan down
composer dump-autoload
No result.

in routes.php, you need to remove the routes leading to remote controllers
