How to remotely change the ip-address on the cisco interface, making it secondary?
I have a remote router with an address, say, 10.1.1.1. I connect to it via SSH. I need to set the primary address to 192.168.1.2 and make 10.1.1.1 the secondary one. If I use the command "ip address 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.252 secondary" I get an error. If I use the command "ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0", then my SSH session will fall off and I will not have time to set 10.1.1.1 as a secondary address. How to solve this problem?
