How to release huge pages in Windows?
Hello, the question is spherical, how/how to release large/huge pages in Windows after applications are running?
Example, Windows has been running for some time, applications were launched, then closed. The memory is freed, but huge pages cannot be obtained, because. fragmented (not sure).
Three different ram booster's like MemReduct/RamMap clear something there, but in the context of the question the result is null. One googled defragmenter is old (2008) and seems to be paid.
Where to dig? And in terms of ready-made solutions and built-in Windows mechanisms.
