I do not know of a universal way to easily remember a large number of homogeneous elements. I think it's impossible . There is a rule of seven, which, as it were, hints that the scope of human attention is limited.
But if you need to do one thing, and not forget, then I know only such options:
With regard to the checklist (leaving the house, turn off the lights, check the stove, gas, water, take the keys, money, passport, etc.), you can remember the number. For example, leaving the house I need to do 7 things. I mentally go through them, checking them in parallel, counting at the same time, and if the number does not converge, then something is forgotten. Then you can remember until you're blue in the face what exactly you forgot until you can remember. The downside is that it is difficult and time consuming to restore a complete list of numbers, even if you do it every day. The advantage is that it is impossible to forget anything from the list. Accordingly, if there are more than about 15 elements in the list, then you can also beat into categories, but this is a completely different story.
