How to reduce ping in video games?

Hello, I'm a video game nerd and I have a problem.
There is an adsl connection with a local connection to a computer and a wife network. When someone else connects to the network via wifi and uses the Internet, the ping increases.
The question is, is it possible to somehow stabilize the ping in such situations?

Again, as in half of the other questions, there is little data.
Show the settings in the adsl modem, which provider, the distance to the PBX and the general condition of the line (twisting, snot, or everything is smooth and well done on the nearest cabinets and poles - this is usually all directly visible).
For adsl connections, there are many additional modes that both the modem and the provider's equipment must support. Some of them allow you to reduce the ping, but often to the detriment of the connection reliability.
Watch the connection speed (the one that the modem shows in the settings!) With several connections (turn off-turn on the communication line) - if it is stable, then there should be no problems and you can try to twist the mode settings; if it jumps, deal with the provider, let them eliminate jambs on the line. With Rostelecom, for example, it is very difficult, there will be only replies and excuses, especially if there are no other wired providers nearby.
PS I kept cs1.6 server for 7-8 years and 4 years of them on adsl. At first, I also tried to twist the settings, called technical support to turn on annex m, but the connection was torn, they could not do anything. And only when I myself walked along the entire line from the computer to the cable outlet from the entrance and eliminated all the problems (twisting, oxidized contacts, and somewhere not twisted screws in the box at all) - then everything went fine. With a distance to the PBX of about 2 km, it had 20 Mbit / s incoming and about 2 outgoing. (with annex m incoming lower, outgoing more).
