Ping

How to reduce ping?

In particular: how to reduce ping if I have a megaphone SIM card that I put into my phone and distribute Wi-Fi to my laptop? =)
Now, in general, I made a USB connection. Trying to play an MMORPG but 500µs ping makes my life a pain.
NB: Megaphone's USB modem causes Windows 8 to give a funny blue screen with codes like "BAD_POOL_CALLER", "blah blah_THREAD_EXCEPTION", etc. to access the Internet.
Everything is of interest: programs, their settings, links to materials, recommendations for killing yourself - in general, everything that can reduce ping to at least 100 microseconds.
Thanks in advance =)

it is unlikely that this is possible, most likely the packet from you to the provider takes about 10 milliseconds, so it’s not up to you, in order to determine who’s the matter, the traceroute utility will help, which will show you where the delays are

I advise you to try WTFast, a thing like VPN, designed for games, but the connection gives a pretty good one. For comparison, Moscow-Shanghai ping drops from 600-700 to 250-350. 30 days trial period, then about 300 rubles per month.

Put the phone where it catches 3g. If you can’t find such a place, plug headphones into it for a start - they can quite improve the reception.
In general - do not suffer and look for a modem with an external antenna that will work for you.
