How to redirect foreign SMS?

Recently I caught such a bug - I opened a virtual Skype number in England (which is +44) in order to receive SMS. And what do you think - these SMSs came to me by voice , i.e. Skype did not turn them into text, but simply read them to me.

Accordingly, the question is: what is the service (and is there) that will allow me to make a virtual number in the UK that will be able to receive SMS as text?

Look at zadarma.com , I'm not sure about the UK, but it accepts and sends to a Moscow number.
Well, nexmo.com , though there was no interface there before, a service for developers, but since we are on Habré, we can advise it.

Does not accept on ZADARMA anywhere except Moscow numbers.
