How to receive and send GPS coordinates on Android?
Good evening.
Task: When starting the application, get the device's gps coordinates and send a post request (lat, lon) to the server.
Didn't work with Java or Android. There are many questions and mistakes, but there are no “shifts”. I read similar questions here in the bourgeoisie, but it looks like "hands-hooks".
Maybe someone has a ready-made solution (if there is - poke where to insert and what to do with it)?

you put Phonegap
along with it a geolocation plugin
on js as in the example, + ajax request to the server or where you need
docs.phonegap.com/en/2.5.0/cordova_geolocation_geo...
...
although there are a lot of rakes on the phonegap installation path, like consoles, nodges and other things, but in my opinion this is the easiest way to get a working version
...
geolocation plows only on hardware, on emulators only with a tambourine (on android, connecting by telnet and transferring coordinates to the emulator)

For POST requests, use AsyncTask (optimized threads for Android, less hassle) and some framework like Retrofit( link )
