How to quickly solder a connector?

There is a need to quickly solder a large number of connectors (and therefore quickly).

The connectors are ordinary, such as PLD-26, that is, 26 legs, and there are 400 of them that need to be soldered.
Now I’m soldering, on the one hand with a soldering iron, on the other hand, I supply solder with flux, so for one contact it turns out about a second and a half.

There is a relatively powerful soldering iron, there is paste and solder, there is a flux.

Are there any technologies that could simplify the process?

26 x 400 x 1.5 = less than 5 hours of operation. cook everything and solder.
in about "students" you were correctly told. in small-scale production, this is the cheapest option.
